Is this the right place to point out that the Rhetoric section uses "they," a plural pronoun to refer to a singular antecedent throughout many passages? It's challenging to edit around this, but it can be done. If this is the sort of editing that this projects seeks, I'll undertake it; but I don't want to overwrite someone's extensive effort without a heads up or a courtesy note to acknowledge the overall worth and value of the core contribution. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post; I'm learning the ropes. M.Johnson Tarnowski (Old Word Wolf)

Sure, why not. Needs to be consistent across book, less formal.

Good work on the Rhetoric and Composition book. It's interesting to see it come together. liblamb 21:54, 11 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Re your msg on my talk page (missplased on my user page ;) ). You did forget to point out what pages you meant I was doing "dramatic" cuts to. I guess it was my removal of possible Copyright violation (and "confirmed" copyright violation) Pictures on the [Rhetoric and Composition] modules. I'v taken notice of you'r comment and will use the talk page for "greyzone cuts". Sincerly Oyvind 22:21, 19 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

There is no problem with the title img on [Rhetoric and Composition]. Have put it back up, in a little more "annonymus" size. Oyvind 11:04, 20 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

User page[edit source]

May I propose that you edit your user page and introduce yourself shortly, perhaps mentioning that you are a major contributor to Rhetoric and Composition? I think you and your students made a great job on the book, unless I am mistaking your identity. Thanks a lot for your work. --Dan Polansky (talk) 20:10, 9 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Saylor.org's English Composition[edit source]

Hi there! Your Rhetoric and Composition textbook looks like a great project. I have a similar project just starting in conjunction with the Saylor Foundation. Please take a look at our textbook Saylor.org's English Composition and add some contributions! --Azin (discusscontribs) 18:36, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
